ITCT is committed to providing Social care services to the Tribals. By building clean water tank, ITCT ishelping them to get clean water in their villages. Also India Tribal Care Trust is doing free fooddistribution among the Tribals not only in covid situations but also in Amphan&Yaas cyclone.

 

Otherthan that ITCT distributed cloths, blankets etc. among needy Tribals. Please support us in our mission.

CLEAN WATER PROJECT

In many tribal areas where there is the scarcity of water, tribal women have to walk miles to get clean water from fountains and river. ITCT is trying to resolve this issue by building

water reservoirs in villages so that the women don’t have to walk miles in search of water.

FOOD FOR LIFE

Food relief program or food for life is one of the most popular event of India Tribal care Trust wherehundreds of tribal gather and receive free meals served by the volunteers of India Tribal Care Trust. Thisevent is organized in villages on different festivals and events.

 

Also many times good Samaritans comesforward to share their special days like birthday,marriage anniversary and sponsor a food for life in avillage.

CLOTH DISTRIBUTION

                ITCT

Distributes old reusable clothes to poor and needy tribal which we receive regularly in our office.Many kind-hearted people want to give away their old clothes which is in good condition to the needyinstead of throwing them away, so they contact us. We collect these clothes which are washed andthen give away these clothes to the poor and needy tribal in different villages.

COVID RELIEF

Corona or Covid-19 is a pandemic that not only affected our country but the entire world.

The lockdownand Covid restrictions not only affected the people in the city but also people living in the rural area.During the first and second wave of Covid, India Tribal Care Trust,through its volunteer,

Distributed dryrations and cooked meals from 12 districts and over 3.5 lacs meals were distributed.

DISASTER RELIEF

In the last 2 years of Covid pandemic, the people of West Bengal living in the coastal area also sufferedfrom Amphan &Yaas cyclone.

 

India Tribal Care Trust, through its volunteers, stood beside these floodvictims and helped them with cooked meals by setting up makeshift kitchens in Sagar island andNamkhana of South 24 parganas, Jaleswar in Odisha. Also during winter, ITCT distributed blanketsamong poor tribals in Sahinganj, Jhargram& South 24 parganas.
